Why is everybody so hard on Syesha...does no one put in consideration that her s!
Question: I was wondering the exact same thing. She has such a great voice but it seems the judges are NEVER impressed with her. I'm beginning to think this competition is less about singing and more about popularity. I think David C and David A are pretty good but the rest...well...I just think they're not as good as Syesha but they're getting more compliments from the judges. Syesha is a wonderful singer and she has such grace and class after being so horribly critqued by Randy and Simon. I thought Jason's performance last night was not that good. I didn't like it at all and I couldn't wait to hear what Simon had to say about it. Boy was I surprised when he said it was fantastic. Are you kiddin? I voted for Syesha a lot last night because I'd hate to see her go. If she leaves, there will only be a few there that can really sing. Bottom Line, I think the judges just don't "get her". She's too good for this show!

I really like her. I think she has great talent. I really commend her for chosing hard songs. Don't you think she did great last night. This question reminded me to download the song on

SHe has a beautiful voice and great talent. Many ppl love her voice.
You cant pay attention to the judges, they are cruel.
WE arent even sure if we can watch it again after this year. THey are so smug and self righteous and cruel to most of those kids. You can rate their singing without being cruel. WE watch so little on tv, and we love to watch this so we can vote for the greatest singers, and this year we even have a few Chritians that are are surey for.
But, due to the evil influence there, doubt after this year we will continue to watch it. OUr friends are saying the same thing. But so many love that stuff, that I guess it will continue to sell. The only thing and I mean the ONLY thing we enjoy is the kids with the talent. the fact we have some Christians this year, shows that God still will put His hand into the midst of that darkness and bright Light.

and you are right. Syesha can really sing, and she is gorgous inside and out. Maybe if we pray , she will still get a career with soeone that is watching. Yes and Amen.

I believe they take into consideration the difficulty, but you can't help and compare to the original and that's the problem. She's not as good as Whitney Houston or Celine Dion and shouldn't choose their songs any more. She's also not original, her sound is not unique and she really hasn't made the songs her own...the connection they are talking about, so she comes off as a poor imitation. It's sad because she is talented, but she hasn't really given us anything new.
Jason is unique. Michael is such a strong performer and great front man. David C. is unique and really makes songs sound like new (although he wasn't great yesterday!). Brook and David A. are so pure and emotional. Syesha and Kristy Lee are forgettable even though they have been blessed with beauty and talent. They need to learn how to be performers.
