So im trying to start this band.....i need help?!
Question: so im starting it with a 'friend' of mine
and hes really good at the guitar
and we have it going im playing harmonic guitar
and singing
and hes playing lead.
but hes not very open to other ideas
and whenver i try to practice with him
he just goes off and tries to play just w/e
and then we end up doing nothing..
and i live in a very small town near orlando called st.cloud
and i swear i cant find nebody
[teen age]
that wants to play.
or that plays at all..
im looking for maybe an online musicians
forum that you can talk to other potential ppl that might be interested
and i want to know what i should do with this dude
should i give him a chance? or ditch him
and i just dont feel like its funn when we jam together..
and thats why i want to start it
it feels more of like a chore with him
cuz hes such a pain in the ***
and when i tell him to maybe play a strumming pattern
or w/e he says.in a stupid accent
'im sorry i can only play metal'
and then i get pissed...help

if hes such a pain maybe you should just keep looking for someone, because it doesnt seem like ur getting anywhere now.
you should confront him, just tell him straight out why your pissed at him and if nothing changes after awhile, ditch him.
