It's a sunny morning in west Michigan. It actually snowed last night again so it's pretty cold out.
In the spring when it rains and the sky takes on that slate gray, steel color I love it. I also love the smell outside of the wet ground and the sharp tang of the ozone in the air from a thunderstorm...
Sorry now I'm ranting, can you tell I'm sick of snow and really really want spring to come?

I just got back from this school's annual party and watched the most amazing fireworks ever. Tonite I'm really happy!! I'm so sorry it's raining for you though. What you should do is warm up a hot cup of coffee, snug into some warm blankets an watch some funny/romantic comedy movies. Those always cheer me up on a rainy day.

It is dreary and dark here in Northern WV. I don't particularly like the dark, but I do like the rain that comes with it. I am a Biologist by trade, so this is what helps me. Think of rain as the essential goodness that is essential to all life, coming down from the heavens! It is what makes everything green. I know it sounds corny, but it puts me in a better mood.
