Why is the rave scene so much bigger on the west coast?!
Question: It seems non-existent on the east coast and if there is a rave it's certainly not the same vibe.
I didn't even know what a "kandi kid" was until I started chatting with west coast ravers.... how sad :(

well i ask that all the time XD i'va been asking people and a majority of them says that the west-coast is "the party side of america lol.Just look at all those states which attract young individuals or couples like miami beach
West coast: It rains more. They live in a depressing environment and turn to partying and drugs. Hence, the raves.
East coast: Beautiful scenery. Wonderful atmosphere. They are less inclined to do drugs. (Except beer, but who counts alcohol as a drug?)
