What are seymour duncan pickups and how do i get them on my les paul goldtop 57?!

ok Slash uses duncan alnico 2 pickups. Alnico is the type of magnet in the pickup. depending on your current pickups most use alnico 5 magnets which are stronger and a bit harsher. the alnico 2 sound more like a set of vintage pickups from a old lespaul. the seymour duncan website is awesome.
