Tenor Or Alto saxophone?!
Question: Hi, I always wanted to play a sax because it was cool and it sounded good but I don't know witch one to get: Alto or Tenor?
I want to know witch one is better sounding and looking better (in general pretty much) and witch one is easier to play and to use. Its my first time to get or play a sax so i want to know what would be best for a begginer? please give me answers with details why I should get either one. Thank you!

The alto is usually considered better for a beginner due to the amount of air it takes to play it. The tenor, being larger, requires a lot more air support that most beginners are not able to do. Do take notice that this information is based on children as students, not adults. As I don't know your age, you may be able to go either way.
Now for your other questions. Neither is better looking or better sounding. For looks, they look nearly identical, just smaller and larger. For sound, they each have a definite sound difference, but each has aspects that make them unique and better for different ideas (tenor is lower, can do a more mellow sound, while alto is higher and can do a wonderful melodic-think singer sound and style). In general use, neither easier to play, other than the reason stated above.
In my opinion, alto sounds much better. ^^
I'm not a huge music junkie, so I wouldn't know the difference in looks, but totally alto!
The only reason, really, is because I think it just sounds better...

You can make a case for both of them and both are very popular. In my opinion I feel the Alto sounds better, the sound is soothing and enjoyable.
