How can I fix a broken wire in my electric guitar?!

Question: The wires (white and black, if i remember correctly) attached to the wire jack on the inside of the guitar have been disconnected, is it likely that soldering it will fix the problem?

You should be able to fix this yourself. You will need to make sure that you know where the wires that have been disconnected actually go. I would strip off a little of each wire end to get to clean wire. Tin the ends by taking your soldering iron and heating the wire ends and laying down some solder on the wires. Clean the area where the wires are to be soldered to, and solder the wired in place. The cleaner job you do, the cleaner the connection will be. If you don't think you can do this, you might be able to take it to your local music shop or possibly even a Radio Shack or Best Buy, etc. and ask them to help,,,for a fee. GL

Go online, like type it up on google.com and it'll tell you. Good luck!
