Question: When a question is asked for OPINIONS and then, one can only assume, the asker gives thumbs down to those opininons they don't agree w/?
I know it's just Y!A but it's an "injustice" that I can't handle!!

Y!A is just like real life. Lots of people only want to hear opinions that they agree with. And yes, anyone may give you a thumbs down, however it does make you wonder, when all the same ideas are nixed.

I just answered a question about this earlier today. In many cases, it might not be the asker giving the thumbs down. Any reader who doesn't agree or for what ever reason may rate the answer.
I have given you a star for this as I agree totally = its a bloooody cheek. I hate unfairness and today wrote to Answers to appeal 2 violations for this reason. xxxxx I am actually angry but won't get anywhere appealing thats for sure. xxxx
