That's not tweed, that's our hair. The elbow pads are special paw-pads. If you eat only vegetables for a few years, you turn into a kind of tweed bear. Personally, I enjoy living this way, and it saves having to buy a lot of clothes as well as protecting animals....
They help us climb trees to get fruit, and to push through queues at health food shops... Report It

    • I'm a vegetarian and can quite honestly say I've never worn tweed or elbow pads in my life!!!
    First of all,not all vegetarians wear tweed.
    Personally,I'm a vegetarian and I can tell you that I most definitely do not wear tweed.
    So,just because you think that "all" vegetarians wear tweed,that doesn't necessarily mean that all vegetarians do wear tweed.
    It's just a matter of 'stereotypes',like saying
    all 'preppy' girls wear Abercrombie,or all 'goth' people shop at Hot Topic.
    So,why don't you just open your mind up a little,and next time try not to stereotype others so much with your narrow minded thinking.

    You obviously move in the upper echelons of society. Get back to your roots then you will realise that vegetarians come from all walks of life and not just the idle rich as it was in days of yore..

    I think that many Scots people are quite snobbish about their personna and like us to think that they are rich beyond belief just because they wear tweed hacking jackets with LEATHER elbow patches....of course just my opinion based on my experience of clan life.
