Question: where would be good place to have a joined birthday (me and a friend)? i've tried looking at halls and stuff, but it seems wayy to big and pricy. our houses are pretty small as well. we're looking at around maybe 40-50 people, but have noo idea where to host it!

Most hotels have a meeting or conference room you can rent for less than a hall, and would accomodate 40-50 people nicely. Check if you can bring your own drinks/catering or even have them do it for you. Some even allow the option of using the pool/hot tub/sauna.

If you're the out-doorsey type, just check the local parks, and see if there's a place for you to have a party. It's usually free.
I don't know where you live, but community buildings can usually be rented for parties. You can decorate as you wish, and they have chairs and tables for everyone. Our community building is cheap to rent, but depending on your area, the price may be more expensive. It's worth checking into, though.
