MTV banned the new Gnarls Barkley video because it can cause seizures, how did t!

Question: I've seen a lot of Acid Rock & Alterative music videos with more crazy things going on , that is a stupid reason not to show a music video.

Answers: I've seen a lot of Acid Rock & Alterative music videos with more crazy things going on , that is a stupid reason not to show a music video.

Basically there is a test, Harding test, that is a flash and pattern analyzer that the video apparently failed. I believe it is more aimed toward people who have photosensitive epilepsy (1 in 4000 have it, but some people who have it aren't diagnosed properly for a long time as they don't have the kind of seizure that tags the label photosensitive epilepsy on them). Certain flashes and lights and flashing patterns can trigger an epileptic seizure in people with the condition. If that video has those patterns and or flashing, it isn't safe for an epileptic to watch, so the reason for the importance of passing the test . They could seize while watching. I don't know about people without epilepsy, but my brother and I have it, and he has had seizures in the past while playing certain video games, despite the warning on them that he fails to take into consideration. Hope that helps a bit in understanding.

whats the name of the video?

its called "run" on youtube

The song is called "Run" MTV doesn't want complaints from people or wants to get sued. They say video can cause seizure maybe if you are in a really dark room and really close to the tv and is sensative to light might have it but what are the odds you know but I guess they don't want to risk it in the end you know they are going to air it you can see it on youtube.
