Years for us are just like seconds to God...
God is not a linear being. He does not experience time as we know it.
Not when you control everything.......
I think God has been on vacation considering there is a whole world down here and really bad things are happening to really good people. I don't think a loving God would let these things happen so he must be on vacation somewhere. Possibly another galaxy.

Well, there's the short play about a guy in a bar sharing a beer with God. It's actually pretty hilarious. This guy's asking him about all this deep and profound stuff and God's just sitting there having a beer and drinking some pretzels and is actually kind of surprised that this "Man" (that's the character's name in the script) is thinking about all this deep stuff.
You should be asking "How Do I Spend My Time?"
If you were God how would you spend your time?
Maybe being kind? Maybe helping another person who isn't as fortunate as you? Maybe being thankful for what you have? Maybe donating blood to save a life? How about listening to an old persons story? or helping a child to learn something new? A simple act of kindness would do you a world that God intended you to have. Maybe he's spending his time watching you do his work for him?
