What is a good party theme for a 12 yr old (going on 30 heehee)?!

beach theme:
this would allow you to have a pool, maybe some outdoor lights and a buffet table of food.
for games, you could do like beach volleyball.
if you want to go all out, you could get a champagne fountain and put juice in there or get a chocolate fountain and put out some strawberries, graham crackers, marshmallows, etc.

Bring her and her little friends back to a simpler time. Have a 50s party for them. They would have a lot of fun in ponytails and poodle skirts. They probably wont get it, but they will have a lot of fun pretending they do.
Have a disco, with loads of decorations.
Have a themed party e.g fancy dress was very succesfull last year for a friends sister
Have a pie fight
A sleepover and get a load of different coloured nail pollish and hair bands ect rent a movie get some popcorn and leave them to it

DISCO PARTY!! :p Wif drinks and food outside n music inside and you could choose clothing themes as well (e.g. star wars, Gangsters - 1920's not modern gangstas, Celebrities, etc.)
just a simple disco, lol - never fails. let them have some alcohol though (kidding), and just let them sort out whatever they want to do - dance, eat, whatever. provide lots of refreshments.
