My daddy used to say "How much does it cost if it's free"?
I'm a songwriter and if you're the one creating the music, movies and software and watching it get downloaded and shared and not getting paid for your work, you understand and appreciate the question.
Have you never stopped to think that if nobody pays for the music, movies and software.. that there is no incentive for anyone to WRITE the music, movies and software... Do YOU expect to get paid for YOUR work?... when why do you expect artist to give you THEIR work for free?

i'm sure those who indulge in this practice would feel differently if it were their material bein' stolen...
