Question: plastic bags,,,,, on the news they just said "over a million are made every second"???????????????/ how???????????????how can a million be made in a second?the factory would overflow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i hate the news lies.

Yes, has to be lies.
The factory would explode with a million a second being made. And who needs that many plastic bags a second?
Maybe they meant one plastic bag takes a million seconds to make.
PS I re-use any plastic bags I have.

thats a sh it load of bags we should all start taking sports bags or something i know i use far too many carrier bags although i dont just throw them away i use them for my sons dirty nappies.
They do not mean in 1 factory.
I don't think it's a lie I think they mean in factories all over the world.
For a start there will be separate factories making them. I do a shop for the family and could use up to 10 bags. If you take into account the number of shops that use carrier bags, it's not just the supermarkets, then multiply that by the number of people purchasing from these stores then the usage of carrier bags will be more than millions everyday.
I guess there is more than one factory making these bags!!
