In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows for what reason does harry not die when !

Question: Some people say it is because the elder wand that voldemort was using could not harm its master (Harry). There is also all that rubbish that dumbledore says about voldemort having harry's blood in him making him unable to kill harry. Which of the these two reasons is it that harry did not die???? Remember that voldemort tries to kill hary twice near the end of the book. Once, harry comes back to life, the second time it rebounds off harry and hits voldemort. Maybe this will help you answer my question.

The bit about the elder wand is part of it. The other part is that Harry was a horcrux housing a piece of voldemort's pitiful soul (remember the whimpering thing during Harry's conversation with Dumbledore). My guess is that the killing curse that hit Harry could not destroy both souls especially as Harry was the elder wand's master, killing the weaker one and allowing Harry to survive to fight on.
