lol no. Its usually asked if they want all toppings, like a supreme pizza then they say hold the anchovies. but lol i noticed that in movies too lol.
ya it is somthing that used to be very common on a pizza so when you would order a pizza with everything on it it would include anchovies. not the case so much today you can get almost anything on your pizza but when I was little it was like pepper onion pepperoni mushroom and anchovies they just add a saltyness to the pie.
olol....no its just an expression because most Americans don't like anchovies at all so its a joke..
