Do you prefer to see concerts in small venues like clubs or big stadium events?!

Question: all depends on 2 criteria.....the act your seeing and the acoustics in the venue....

some acts are more tailored for a smaller venue, while some prefer stadium shows.

naturally, a smaller venue lends itself to more of an intimate feel.....some acts are tailored for that.....but the mega groups couldn't pull it off...

like more intimate venues, like pubs clubs etc.

Small Venues FORSURE.

Smaller venues are more...personal I guess you could say. Stadium concerts are more flashy and interesting to the eyes, but if your there for the music, then small venues are the way to go.

Small to medium venues, so I can see the stage!

I used to like the big venues, now it is more of the smaller ones.

Small venues - don't see the point of a stadium of big festivals where you have to watch the band on a big screen the further from the front you are.
I only see bands in small venues so that I can actually see them properly from where I'm stood/sat plus I like the atmosphere more - it's friendlier.
I went to see HIM in December last year at the Manchester Apollo which is a pretty small venue and it was the best gig I've ever been to mostly because I think they're a brilliant band with a huge stage presence but also because of the great atmosphere and the proximity of the gig-goers to the band - more personal:-)

So long as it's not seating, I don't mind too much because I'm pretty good at pushing to the front :)

I guess there's a feeling of excitement more when you're in a big swarm of people, so if you're not interested in the music so much, then stadium events are good - I think the biggest gig I've ever been to was at Crystal Palace, which was really good because there was such a big crowd it made for a really good atmosphere.

Small venues I think are the best though, because there's a sort of feeling of intimacy and yeah.. I think the smallest venue I've been to was a Brixton, which isn't that small, but it was very different and it was a lot easier to get in and out :)
