The Brit's?!

Question: Are you surprised that they have got 43 complaints about the show from this article?

Ofcom receives 43 Brits complaints

(Thursday February 21, 2008 04:52 PM)
Media watchdog Ofcom received 43 complaints about Wednesday night's Brit Awards.

Most viewers who contacted the body about ITV1's live broadcast were upset by bad language.

Host Sharon Osbourne turned the air blue when comedian Vic Reeves took to the stage.

Reeves appeared to forget which award he was there to present.

Osbourne accused him of being drunk, and yelled a string of obscenities. Reeves later blamed his confusion on a faulty autocue.

Most celebrities wasted no time getting stuck into the free alcohol at London's Earls Court. Comic Alan Carr admitted he was a bit worse for wear as he presented an award to Take That.

Double winners Arctic Monkeys also seemed well-refreshed and organisers cut them off mid-speech when they began poking fun at the Brits School.

No I'm not surprised, the whole thing was embarrassing from beginning to end. Sharon had clearly had too much to drink, as had most of the people who presented awards. The arctic monkeys were the real low point... so drunk they were apparently unable to speak. Amy Winehouse was clearly drugged up. Half the awards went to the wrong people. The only thing that surprises me is that people can actually be bothered to complain to Ofcom.

No class...no talent...no point.

look im sorry.. is 43 a lot? or are people surprised it was so little?

At least it livened things up

I found it amusing - Celebrities behaving like normalites for once - I love watching them make **** out of themselves - nobody has to watch it if it offends - I mean, The Osbournes, free liquer and live tv - recipe for entertainment! Just goes to show that all classes resort to subspecies when they abuse the drink! Swearing to me doesn't bother me - it's just a cruder form of verbal emotion! Lighten up - there are loads of things in the world that are depressing - this whole thing, as tacky as it may have appeared, lightened things up for a while!

Not suprised at all hun......and a Pound to a Penny the Booze Ban will be back in force next year !!

its the brits not a W.I. tea party.
