For beginners the most important thing is the strings. Very very smooth strings. I liked the blue steel cryogenic strings. If the strings arent smooth you will not practice for very long because it will hurt. After you have played for a while you will get callouses and it won't hurt. Call me a whimp, I'm just keepin it real.
its an okay setup if your a beginner youll learn that squier is a **** brand on your own but it looks pretty but it probably doesnt sound pretty or feel pretty. try a fender cable. and i dont really think you need a suggestion on a strap.
