Whats warped tour like ? is it fun and how old do u have to be to go?!

I started going to concerts when I was about 12. Warped Tour was also my first concert I ever went to and probably the funnest! There are so many different bands to watch. If I was you make sure to go with an adult or someone that's over 18 and has been to several concerts before. It would be best if they stay with you the whole time but they do have a place where you can drop off your parents and they have things they can do to relax like watch movies and such in a big tent.
Clothes-
Going in the hot summer months you'll want to make sure to wear lots of sunblock. Don't wear a massive amount of black cause you'll just end up burning up. Wear comfortable clothes lighter in color. Also no flip flops; they will either break or fall off leaving you shoeless all day. People usally are pretty good about finding that stuff though and litterity throwing it up into the air so you can try and find your shoes though ( So if someone screams heads up its either something like a shoe or a person crowd surffing). Wear old tennies shoes so incase its muddy they dont get ruined and make sure to tie them tight so they dont fall off.
Smoke-
Like any concert there is going to be lots of smoking, pot, drinking, and some other drugs going on and Warped is no exception. Weed will be your biggest problem though so if your not used to it try not to stand to close to the pot circles. It will mess you up.
Mosh Pits-
If you are kinda small in size or have never been in one before you may or may not want to go in a mosh pit. Some are alot more exstream than others and you will get hurt if you aren't really paying attion. If its just a little push/shove, dancing, jumping type mosh you should be okay. You will proubley end up with some bruses though. If its something crazzy like wall of death, running circle pit, ect you might not want in those. First pit I got into I was pulled into a Huge running circle pit and in less than 5 minutes I was on the ground with about 4 other people ontop of me and people still pushing us. You may want to look different kinds up on youtube so you can get an idea of what they are and if you think you want in them or not. If you fall though people at Warped are always really pretty nice about helping you up.
Food/Drinks-
Make sure to bring plenty of money for water bottles. They wont let you keep the lids on it so you cant bring any in. This is so if someone throws it there is a chance for the water to spill out and make it not so heavey if it hits someone. If you start to feel dizzy or like your blood sugar is getting low you can usally find a lemonaid stand. It will keep you hydrated and also get some sugar in you to keep you going. You might even want to stop at like a BurgerKing or something on the way up and get a meal to eat.
Concert Swag-
Warped Tour has lots of things to buy and things they give out. If you are just buying a tee shirt you can thread it threw one of your belt loops. If you have a messenger bag I recommand bring it. The secarity garuads will check it when you go threw the gates but its not really that big of a deal, they are just check for weapons and such. you can put your sunblock, shirts, posters, cameras, ect in it and only have one bag to carrie instead of abunch of stuff. Each person in your group can take turns carring it around. If you go to WalMart you can also buy like lil bags of cookies and cheese its and bring with you so you have alil something to eat. Bring acouple of sharpie marks also. If you plan on getting ottographs oh your tee or something you will regret not having one. You can buy them there but they are like 2-3 bucks. I also recommand not buying your shirts and stuff til tords the end so your not carring it all day, but if you really want a perticular shirt go ahead and get it before they sell out.
Cell Phone-
If you have a Cingular phone that will also help, so bring it! You wont have to wait to get in when you go to get in. Just flash it in the air and keep walking. They will have a banner up so youll know where to put it up. Also on the Warped website if you give them your cell number it will send you text durring the concerts telling you when surtain bands are playing and what stage. Cingular boothes will also give you free poster things and such if you show them your phone.
Money and Items-
Make sure to bring more money than what you think you will need. You pay for parking, tickets if you buy them there they will sometimes tack on like 10 extra bucks, Water bottles alone usally cost like about 4 bucks. Than you got your Concert shirts are about like 20-40 bucks.
One last rule, Don't bring anything you don't want broken, stolen, lost, torn, ect. Some people may try to pick-pocket you. Some things you will just drop and not realize. Either way if is not worth losing dont bring it with you or leave it locked up safely in the car.

ive never been to warped tour before, but i went to pointfest..and i loved it.
the only thing i didnt like, was i got into a mosh pit. if you see anyone start to shove someone else, get outta there as fast as you can...i almost got trampled.. :0
but i can bet you you'll have loads of fun.
i think the main reason i was so bad at pointfest was because of my town..
i went to projekt revolution in chicago..it was the best day of my life.
I went last yr for the first time.
Me and my friend went.
It was a blast.
I think the worst thing was the heat.
Being in the crowd, in like 100° weather is torture.
But it is totally worth it.
I was 15.
But, you shouldn't have a problem with it.
Just don't bring a purse that's the worst thing.
