Most awkward/embarrassing experience at a job interview?!

Question: embarrassing, funny, interesting experiences?!
mine:
back when I was 16, it was going great but I was SO nervous and then the woman interviewing asked if I wanted a little cup of water and I ended up spilling it literally ALL over her desk, and ink and everything started running over some written envelopes. i was so embarrassed I wanted to run out the room, seriously. then she sort of went "it doesn't matter! don't worry about it!" but you can guess i never got called back ...

What a great question! My most embarrassing was recently. I had a terrible cold and had been sneezing and blowing my nose literally non stop the day before my interview. I thought there was no way I would make it! The next morning I interviewed at 9 am. My nose was completely stuffed up. I couldn't breathe through my nose at all! I was praying I could make it through the interview without having to blow my nose or have a sneezing fit. My face felt like it was on fire. I did make it through. I had to wipe my nose a couple of times, but he didn't seem to notice. And, I GOT THE JOB! After the interview, however, I spent the rest of the day blowing and sneezing!

i ended up pissing my pants. yeah the girl asked why i was the guy for the job and i started to piss myself lol. keep in mind that was about 5 yrs ago. lol

awkward experience when you get there your already nervous enough so some people have sweaty palms. The first thing the interviewer wants to do is shake you hand

I totally blew the interview. Worse, I was grinning like some idiot the entire time. I was unable to answer a question that I had been told repeatedly to commit to memory. They hired me anyway...danged nitwits! :)

During the interview I was asked to solve a couple problems related to the job. For one of them I gave a creative solution, not the one in the books. In facts it was in the books but not in the ancient ones, the ones that were used to teach that. The HR person told me that the answer was wrong, that that wasn't the way it was taught in school. I told him how I learned to do it that way, gave him references to the book where it was explained and proved to him that it was a better solution. He said "Yes, you're right. You're too good for this job" and dismissed me.

Looking back I'm pretty sure he did me a favor, a great one. But, at that time, it was a very embarrassing moment.
