If I like the movie brokeback mountain am I gay?!
Question: I really enjoyed the movie brokeback mountain, so much that it drove me to tears. The story of the two mens love is so touching and it really moved me.
I don't find the men attractive or anything, it's just the story, I guess it doesn't matter whether it's a man or woman, it's very beautiful and heartfelt.
Did any other non-homo men find this movie to be good and satisfying emotionally?
Men aren't allowed to like this type of movie or they are labeled as a gay/homo etc. Why is this? Is it right for me to enjoy this type of movie? or am I a homo queer bag ***?

No that doesn't make you gay....like you said it was a touching love story between two people and that's all that matters. It's totally ok for men to like these kind of movies....I personally feel it is stupid ad immature when guys get so weirded out when other guys like stuff like this.....

A movie can't make you gay, that's just silly. My ex boyfriend really liked the movie as well, probably not as much as you did but he's a straight man and he enjoyed it.

Yes I loved the movie, my husband refuses to watch it though. To be honest the first time I rented it when they had their first sex thing in the tent I turned it off, it grossed me out. I later (just last week) saw some online reviews of it and now that it is on cable and is rated a 3 1/2 star I decided to try again. I watched it all the way through and I enjoyed it very much, husband still won't watch it though, probably afraid he will like it or something, lol.

Only you can answer if you are gay or not. Just because something touched you emotionally does not make you gay it makes you human. I never saw the movie. I have a brother who is gay and I support his decision to be so. I have gone to gay bars with him. He chose the lifestyle he was not born that way. I wish more men would quit lying about being gay and come out already.
Don't listen to the immatures! This movie is not about being gay, but about a great play and story! Actors did an awesome job, and no wonder it has won awards. If you are gay by watching the movie it would mean that Heath Ledger is gay for kissing a man in the movie... but we all know that's not the case. He had a wife and a child. definitely not. I am not gay and i loved this movie. This just means that you recognized a good story being told well... it has passionate characters and a deep meaning not just about being gay is a taboo like most people see this movie.
