You can check sites like www.broadway.com or www.playbill.com to see if they have any special offers, deals or discounts available for "The Color Purple."
Or, if you're in the NYC area, there is the TKTS Booth located in midtown and lower Manhattan that offers up to 50% off theater tickets. Only glitch is, you can only purchase tickets for shows that day.
