Haven't you ever watched the movie? The poppies are the flowers that the bad witch uses to put Dorothy, Toto & the Cowardly Lion to sleep just outside the Emerald City (the good witch sends the snow to wake them up.

It's a flower that they smoke and get high off. Dorothy blacks out after smoking it and goes to OZ for rehab. The scarecrow is a serial killer, the lion is a man eating werewolve, and The tin man is a child molester. OZ is a queer who has FUN with the little people
