sure y not...learning an instrument is really good thing..go ahead nd get trained under a very gud guru...
i feel playing an instument makes u feel happy,nd u can learn more also..so do learn it nd all the best!!!!!
worth it... i am self taught and now i can play songs i really like..im not great but good enough to play my favorite songs.. and thats most important..

Dont buy the guitar before you know that you love and it want to continue.
i did that and i found it wasn't for me so I'm stuck with an expensive guitar taking up space.
but try it.

i'll admit theres alot of pride in getting a new chord right and learning a song.
seriously try it and decide yourself if you like it don't go by other people experiences.

Everyone has there own personal preferences. The only way to truely know if it will be interesting to you or not is to simply try it out. Pick up a cheap starter set for 100-200$ and give it a whirl. If it doesn't work out for you, just ebay it.
