What is the most common reason you give to take leave in the office?Do you tell !
Question: Better yet say your grandma/grandpa is getting married again in a simple civil ceremony and you are one of the few invited to be a part of this special moment (he/she have be alone for 10years now and finally found love again)
Then you can reuse the death of grandparent at a later date.
* remember to spread it out over some time

Family member transitioning to hospice care.
No need to specify what family member.
It is not their business.
Cramps. That's the great thing about being a girl. The office can't say "But wait, you had cramps last month." They'd be right, but it wouldn't matter. :)
i'm dont lie, when i have to leave i have a good reason to do and i say to the chief...
As far as my office is concerned, our bosses are quite pleased and satisfied if you officially inform them that you had some " urgent personal work." This, however, has a flip side to it. At a moment of the boss's convenience, it allows him to get 'personal' with you and find out what you have been upto under the pretext of urgent personal work. Tough choice, isn't it ?
Tell the boss your crabs are playing up.
Yes I have said my grandma died again again as she is dead when I was kid. But now started to give other reasons also.
