My first question is why? What is on it that he does not want you to watch. If he is just doing this as a control effort then I say watch it. If he has a reason for no wanting you to watch it, then try to see it from his point of view. Sometimes guys mean well they just do not communicate it to where you understand.

Hell no!! No one should FORBID you to do anything. You are your own person.. He can express his concern as to why he dislikes you to watch it, and you can not watch it to repect his reason, but to FORBID you is making you submissive to him.
