Are you a shoe dangler or do you slip them off when driving in waiting room?!

Question: or at the resturant

Answers: or at the resturant

Try wearing horseshoes, the perfect Loophole.

neither, I keep them on.

***NEITHER.***

I'm a barefooter; I never wear any kind of footwear to start with. I go barefoot everywhere, I don't own a car but I use public transport barefoot (& I do happen to know that in spite of persistent myths, there are no laws against driving barefoot), I work barefoot, I go out to restaurants or movies barefoot... It rarely if ever is a problem here in the Netherlands, I've never even SEEN a 'no shoes, no shirts, no service' sign and while I get frequent comments like 'isn't that cold' or 'did you lose your shoes', or kids calling out 'look, she's barefoot!'... they're the surprised/interested kind of questions and comments, I've only had a handful of truly negative comments in eleven years, and never in a restaurant. In the US, dress codes against bare feet are more common but even there, there are NO health department rules requiring footwear, nor do insurance companies require or even recommend footwear for customers. It's sad so many folks in the US are biased against bare feet; feet get very tough very quickly, our skin is made to keep pathogens out & feet are fully washable -rather than dangerous or gross it's a quite healthy practice.
