Has anyone bought anything from Tesco Entertainment?!


Question: On 5th December 2007 I ordered a Mario Princess Peach DS game and a DS accessory pack from Tesco.com Entertainment.......since I placed my order I have had 5 emails from them, each one telling me that the item is delayed and they keep giving me a new dispatch date, the first date was the 20th December, then it was the 29th December, then 2nd January, then 10th January and now I have just received another email from them telling me the dispatch date is now going to be 16th January!

I have emailed them to tell them how disgusted I am with their service but they just fobbed me off with excuses. Has anyone else had the same trouble and if so, did you ever get your items? It feels like my daughter is never going to get her items and they're just going to keep giving me new dispatch dates, I am so furious! They were supposed to be Christmas presents for my daughter! It's absolutely ridiculous!

I haven't ordered anything from them, but that sounds crap.

If it were me, I'd cancel the order, demand your money back, and get what you want from somewhere else.

Oh, and tell them you'll never buy anything from them again (whether that's true or not!)

Update: I've just looked at Tesco.com to try to find an email address / web form to write to about your story. There isn't one! Loads of phone numbers & postal addresses, but no email address. Obviously they know how crap they are, so they're trying to discourage contact or else they'd be overwhelmed with complaints.

And tell them you've told all your mates, and they'll never buy anything from them again.

And tell them you've put your problem on Yahoo! Answers, and now thousands of people know about Tesco's shoddy service.

Once I've finished typing this, I might well (if you don't mind) copy your question and send it to Tesco, so they know that everyone else knows...
