there is no "quick" becoming a dj bro...hate to break it to you...it takes practice and you have to develope the ear for it...you have to be able to feel what the audience wants to hear and you have to hear the music right to beat match...its not like youre gonna take a class and suddenly be the hottest dj in a club you go to, you gotta practice a lot, most of the djs you hear have been doing it for a long time, and none of the good ones are just picking songs off an ipod, they are either mixing with records or using a dj program on a laptop...
my advice to you is just practice practice practice and dont get frustrated if your mixes sound like sh.it for a while, they can only get better...also try googling for tips on how to dj and watch as many videos of other djs doing their thing to try and copy their technique til you have developed your own.

Build up a big collection of crappy music that no one likes and dress like you want to service dudes in the restroom.
