Canary Islands usually is very hot about this time.
I went to spain at this time of the year and it was horrid. the weather was not much warmer and because it was some sort of holiday it was full and i mean full of pensioners which was a bit much for my teenager.
Try nearer africa. I would recommend malta and bulgaria both a nice heat this time year and great places to go
