Have you ever been on the phone with DELL?!


Question: Haha, this is kind of just a discusion thing. because it seams like everytime i call dell, first of all i can never understand the person because of their accent, and second of all i'm on the phone with him/her for 2 hours and they still dont solve my problem.

anyone ever had something like this happen to them?

They outsource all of their telephone customer service to India, where labor is cheaper. That's really all you need to turn a 10-minute service call into a 2-hour nightmare. It's not the ethnicity of the workers -- it's that they're not trained by Dell to speak to their mostly American customer base in a clear and articulate manner. It's Dell's fault.

It's always someone you can never understand.
Like in a different language.
