iTunes plus refers to "DRM (digital rights management) free" music which means that there is an agreement between the record label and the seller that the song being distributed NOT be protected with DRM protections.

DRM is a technology for the secure distribution of media files and includes rules for redistribution and copying, etc.

Simply put, songs sold under the iTunes plus category are "unprotected" songs and can be burned directly to a CD upon download and are less restricted in how they can be distributed.

What this means for you, practically speaking, is that there are not burn limits and the songs will play on all iPods, Macs, PC's and other portable media players.

Because there is less restriction on the songs, the price charged for each song is slightly higher than their DRM protected counterparts

i think it means add to cart

it means that it's better quality so that it sounds better.

It means they could charge you abit more than the price that they have stated.

I think it means that the song is on iTunes Plus (I'm not sure, because I haven't shopped much lately and I don't remember where the symbol was). The songs on iTunes Plus are in mp3 format instead of the usual encrypted m4p format. That means that you can play them wherever you want (including non-iPod mp3 players) without registering another machine with iTunes. Just don't abuse the privilege . . . if people start sharing the files, the record companies may very well decide to stop selling songs like that. Good night!

I thought it means to add it to your cart.

On most music services that means that you can load it onto your favorites and listen to it without going to the page. You won't have to pay unless you burn it. I know this is true of Rhapsody And Yahoo Music unlimited.
