Question: What would be the scariest thing you could imagine/or not imagine to happen to you in a plane during take-off/cruising/landing.

Explosive Decompression due to Metal Fatigue
The scariest thing I would not want to encounter EVER - is what happened to Aloha Airlines flight 243 back in 1988. Metal fatigue on top of the aircraft caused an explosive decompression that took out the roof and walls all the way down to the deck. Passengers in the front half of the plane were exposed to the elements, with nothing to hold them back from oblivion or the elements bar a single seatbelt around their waist. Before you ask, yes the plane landed, everyone (cept one flight attendant) survived. They made a TV movie about it too. The plane diving down at about 4000 feet per minute to a level that had enough air for passengers to breath would have been the roller coaster ride of a lifetime.

Air craft skidding off the runway and oxygen masks failing to drop when there is decompression.
When the plane encounters the turbulence thing, then you feel like something is just sucking the plane towards the middle of the sea, slowly like whirling, turning, going faster and faster and as if going down the drainage and in one moment, the plane is lost in the middle of the sea, like a twirl in a creamy icecream.............can u imagine that?
Knowing the plane is going to crash to the ground and nothing the pilot can do. You are just waiting to die.

LOL i could not help it but on a plane ride to america in march and being scared of heights and having a window seat i kept imagining 3 things:
1. the window would fall out and i would be sucked out
2. the window would fall in, crush me then i would be sucked out
3. i would look down the the floor would be gone and i would fall
The cabin depressurized and aircraft starting to Dive towards the land,increasing G-forge making passengers felt 6times the original weight..god gracious me..T_T
Crashing. Have you ever seen photos of plane crashes? Gruesome.
plane shaking due to rough weather conditions, and the the plane suddenly falling for about 2 or 3 seconds then stabilising just coz the pilot had tried to avoid a 'hole'. one of the worst i had experienced was when approaching Mumbai airport, the pilot, most certainly first time taking a plane to india, mistook Marine Drive for the runway! And when they realised what was happening, the plane rocketed in the sky, with all the trolleys running down the alleys, the engines full blast...well many more such incidents with flights to and from india!
