Lasagna, garlic bread, salad

Oatmeal and toast

Is it supposed to be formal? Would a buffet be okay? How many kids? Give me some more details and I'll brainstorm with you! (Sounds like fun- kiss your mother.)

you want the most food for your money. Pasta is ALWAYS a hit. You can buy lots of pasta and sauce.........get some garlic bread, buy something good for desert and you have a meal.

There is also spaghetti, chili, pizza.............what 8th grader doesn't like Pizza and Costco pizza is inexpensive and really good.......and you don't have to have a costco card to get pizza there.

Good luck

italian or mexican food always works best. you could have a make your own taco stand and just set out all of the ingredients for everyone, make enchiladas, have your mom make pasta and set out two different sauces so people can choose, have lasagna (vegetarian and meat), order a bunch of pizzas with different toppings. just make sure that the kids aren't limited and have a few choices, then everyone will be happy. good luck

Dinner for a large crowd of young people you can never go wrong with chicken, spaghetti, salad and dinner rolls.

Depends how many people you expect.

A buffet for a small group:
Mac&cheese
Chicken fingers
Salad
Pie
Juice, water & soda

For a large group you have finger foods.
