If you are really serious about it then find someone that can play and get there help. Or find someone in your area that instructs. My son was self taught with a lot of influence from a good friend of his but now he's wishing he had taken classical guitar classes. He has found out that it's needed to be taken seriously on the guitar as a career to have that on your resume. Also, you must practice every single day for atleast an hour. Even if your fingers are sore.
