New year's eve is amateur night, when people who aren't up to the task try to drink like the pros. The first time I spent a new year's eve sober but had to go out on the road was the LAST time I was ever caught out there at all. After having three oncoming cars cross into my lane before 11 PM, I finished my business and got myself home as quickly as possible.
