Question: Because the record companies are stupid, and greedy. They should make every single song in their back-catalogues available for download, and it has nothing to with whether somebody thinks a song is good or bad. Every song that has ever reached the top 100 in Billboard magazine and every album that has ever reached the album charts should be available for download. Then maybe people will stop illegal downloading - until then you'll have to find your song some other way than Itunes - try Usenet.
