Can anyone recommend great workout music?!

Question: i don't listen to a lot of music and the only 'music' i know that gives me the 'feel' of working out are movie OST's.

such as 'wheel of pain' from conan the barbarian or
mortal kombat theme song or something.

can someone please enlighten me on this subject?

can you recommend any albums that can get you fired up?

thank you.

Depends on what kind of workout you are doing. If i'm hitting weights pretty hard then I tend to listen to old Metallica, or something else pretty hard.

But, if i'm cycling or running I tend to listen dance/techno because it tends to have a very pronounced and rhythmic baseline that I can set my pace to.

I don't listen to much of either outside of working out, but i've found that those two are best for getting me in the right frame of mind for each type of activity described.

Use anything that will get you up and moving. I download my own and put it in a specific order to keep me going. I use a lot of PAt Benatar and Movie tunes from movies like "CenterStage" "Fame" and "anything 1980;s

Yes westlife.
