How can I get Wil Arnet and Amy Poehler's Gap commercial to get off of my co!
Question: Use a browser with a good ad blocker. I use Maxthon (Version 1, not Maxthon 2) and it blocks that ad easily. Maxthon 2 is a completely different browser (both are in development) and has a better ad blocker. You could also use Mozilla Firefox (but I hate it, ew) or another browser. In fact almost every browser other than IE has a decent ad blocker.

Maxthon uses the IE rendering engine so it's fully compatible with all your IE plugins such as flash and java so youtube and the new Yahoo Mail will work fine. However this can also make it vulnerable to new security threats involving IE (the Maxthon development team usually has security patches for these within hours of the press release about the vulnerability).
Firefox uses the Gecko rendering engine and thus is not compatible with your IE plugins and you have to find a specific Firefox plugin that works. It is however mostly invulnerable to IE security holes. If you have both Maxthon and Firefox installed, you can use the Gecko engine in Maxthon instead of the IE engine so it's really a choice of whichever interface you like better.
BTW - Maxthon comes with a built in ad blocker, Firefox requires you to download the plugin first ;) (another reason to hate Firefox).

You have to turn off Flash. It is so annoying that Yahoo is hijacking our computers like this. I plan to sue when I suffer a heart attack because of the unexpected loud noise that blasts through my headphones because of that ******* advert.
Press the pause button whenever it comes up.
Download the Firefox Web Browser and install the Ad-block extension. After that all you have to do is click a little button that says Adblock!
I know I hate it!! But sorry I don't know how to do it!
