Deaf People and the Trans - Siberian Orchestra?!

Question: The Trans Siberian Orchestra is a group that is a cross bw symphony and rock. The mainly do holiday music. THey tour yearly around the holidays. I go every year.

There show involves a huge amount of lighting.. lasers, colored lights, spotlights, ect. The lights in a lot of songs correspond to the beat and so forth of the music. The music is loud, so you feel the vibrations.

I didnt think about it until last night, but I bet there are a lot of deaf people that already enjoy or would enjoy this group.

Are there any deaf people around here familur with them? I would be interested in knowing your opinion on the group and if it is a group you enjoy listening to/watching.

The website doesnt do the group justice and if you have never seen them in person you may not get what I am saying, but here is the site

They also do a pretty good version of the 5th Requim, written by mozart while he was deaf.

I have seen (but not heard) them. I enjoyed the concert, but in a different way. I can feel the beats pulsing out of the speakers, feel the heat from the lights and see the special effects, see the performance they give, and best of all, get completely caught up in the positive energy coming from the crowd. So I was able to get to the emotional euphoria that the rest of you were feeling, I just took a different path to get there!!

I saw them, when they were in NH. They were AMAZING! I think they WOULD be great for a deaf person. I never thought of that, great idea for them. My girlfriend and I got to be near the fire blasting out, we could feel the heat. I wish they would come around again, they even do a meet and greet after every show. Amazing in every sense.
