Con artist are getting dumper and dumper?!
Question: have you ever heard of an estate agent who tells you through email to send the deposit through Money Gram the .......Before you've even view the property.
Big joke this is I saw a property that I liked off Gumtree.com
for a flat the price was too good to be true. anyways emailed the guy who said and i quote well copied and pasted from the email
''The posting reference of the property is 16097733(landlord Mr.Christopher Douglas).The property is located in Colliers Wood, London.
It is a modern and extremely well presented one bedroom flat with own entrance and private front garden.It includes a fully fitted kitchen,newly fitted bathroom with electric shower and heated towel rail,good size lounge with wood flooring and a double bedroom.Other benefits: washing machine,microwave,fridge and internet connection.
Regarding the deal,you have to know that this is the procedure............

I have also just discovered this scam, luckily I could see straight through it but am really disappointed as the apartment I was after on Gumtree looked great, It is exactly the same as the message above.
I cant believe that they can operate on this site, I think Gumtree really needs to check with advertisers, that they are genuine in form of registration or something. My next step is contacting the fuzz about this...
