I'm 16, I just started guitar. Is this too late?!

I started at 9 years old, but quit when my drinking got out of control at age 30 or so. I picked up a guitar again at 45 and now have gotten back to my old forn and improving at age 51. Never too late to do something you enjoy. I am playing in a band for the first time sine I was in my late 20's.
Well now you only have about 64 years to perfect it.
of course not. damn you can start a new hobby at any age and w/ practice you'll be as good as you want to be =)

If it's just for hobby, I think it's not too late. There's no need to push yourself, just enjoy playing your guitar.
i doubt it, at least at sixteen you have formed an opinion of what music you like, and you can gear yourself towards that, i started about 13, but i could only play what other "older" people tought me. sixteen man go buy some "TABS" at your local mall music store tabs are a simple way to get started , ALSO being sixteen you are old enough to learn on your own during your free time......
