Answers: Adam Jones from Tool and Tom Morello of ratmwould be mine because of their innovative styles.

They have unique styles of play and continue to stretch the boundaries of their abilities with each album they produce.

who would it be for you?

Jimi Hendrix, Robert Johnson, David Gilmore, the dude from Queen, Frank Zappa, The Edge.

How about Jeff Healey? Not only for his great guitar playing, but the unique physical way he plays it, on his lap. (we Canadians all know his music I hope!)
I also like Zakk Wylde's style - not sure how to describe it, but his really unique way of ending phrases (especially in songs like No More Tears).

I'm going to stick with the classic guitarists...Jimmy Page,Hendrix,Clapton,Eddie Van Halen,Roy Buchanan,Ronnie Montrose,Robin Trower,Leslie West,Pete Townshend...just because they set the standards for everyone else

Slash

I would have to say: Jimi Hendrix and Eddie Van Halen, and Stevie Ray Vaughn (blues guitar)

Django Reinhardt, Doug Martsch, Steve Albini, Blind Willie McTell, Robert Quine, Tom Verlaine...

Ted Nugent
