Which guitar is best?!

Question: I know that the question, "Which guitar is better?" has been asked a lot but I need some input from other people. I need to know out of these guitars which one is the best. I would also appreciate any other suggestions on guitars I did not list. For some background information I play mainly classic rock and some blues, nothing really else. My price range is from 0-400 dollars, I can go a little over depending if it is really worth it.
The guitars I have to choose from are:

Epiphone Limited Edition 1966 G-400

Epiphone G-400 SG

Epiphone G-400 Deluxe

Epiphone Les Paul Standard
Link: http://tinyurl.com/28djed
Fender Limited Edition Stratocaster

Fender Standard Stratocaster

All links provided go to Guitar Center because that's probably where I'll buy it. I made the list to provide examples, so suggestions are nice.

Each of these guitars are excellent for a midranged guitar, and all have certain characteristics that contribute to a different type of sound and feel.

What you need to take into consideration is the sound you want from your guitar. The only way to find the sound you want is to play each one and compare them. When you play the guitars, don't pick one because of its look and luster, ONLY the sound. Also, don't limit yourself to Epiphones and Fender, try Schecter, Ibanez, and a few others. You will find that some of these guitars will have features like a Floyd Rose tremolo or locking knuts and bridge (both Epiphone and Fender will not put these on their guitars, odd eh?).

Also, make sure you play each guitar on an amp similar to yours. For example, if you own a small Crate, play the different guitars on another small Crate. You are used to YOUR amp and you will relate the sound of the different guitars to YOUR amp, so it makes sense to try out the different guitars on an amp similar to YOUR amp.
-Don't get me wrong, feel free to play on the $5800 Marshall stack for fun, but for sake of buying a guitar, use one similar to yours.

If you have any pedals or effects that you use frequently, make sure to take them with you to do sound checks. The reason for this: different pickups will effect the sound of your effects dramaticly. By the way, try to make sure that the guitar that you buy has at least one humbucker (it sounds the best through distortion and overdrive).

The weight of the guitar and the shape of the neck, as well as the height of the frets and the finish of the fretboard will effect your playing as well. You will not know what works best for YOU until you play several guitars.

Be as picky as you can possibly be. If there is one thing you don't like about a guitar, don't buy it, even if it seems small. If you are going to spend upward $400, you need to love EVERYTHING about your guitar. I went to a Guitar Center in Colorado last month and played about 25 different guitars over the course of 4 hours......I only liked one.

After you pick your dream guitar you need to do this: play at least ten more before you buy that one guitar (play a Gibson Explorer, or a BC Rich Razorback, something other than an SG, Les Paul, or a Strat).

Hope this helps,
Charlie

All the guitars you list are decent entry level guitars. Which one is best???? The guitar that feels the most comfortable when you strap it on is the best for you. You can't play well if you don't feel right with it slung over your neck.

P.S. Fender did make guitars with a Floyd Rose system on them, I own one.
