Why is American media trying to turn us into plastic people?!
Question: Fakeness, lavishness, greatness, richness, excess, = good.
Down to earth, nice, meek, humble, not-so-rich = BAD.
That's what American media is saying and promoting.
Look at our celebrities for crying out loud, and fashion, and entertainment.
They promote strangeness and think it's the way things should be.
Fake hair, porcelain skin, perfect figures, very strange outfits, "plasticness" etc etc.
The average people, who see this daily on tv and elsewhere, soak it in and think, wow, these people are better than me, and what not, and either become depressed or try to buy into it.
I guess fakeness sells, and that's why it's selling so much.
Either that, or humans value things that are "out of this world" and cool, like little children.
Why does our country promote all this b*llshit?
Is something wrong with just being the guy/girl next door? G0d forbid, nowadays that's deemed "Loserish".
