No you can't. I'd be dead by now if that was possible.

uhhh... no.

I dont think there is such a thing as a cat flu but my dog sneezes on me sometimes and I dont get the dog flu.

No but you might get cat scratch fever...lol...just kidding, I don't think you will catch anything.

no, you'll get cat scratch fever

None of the viruses that cats get – except Rabies - can infect humans, so that lets us off the hook for most of the infections that a cat will get in its lifetime! That includes Feline Aids, Feline Leukaemia, Feline Herpes, Corona virus and Parvovirus. And several more! THERE IS MORE INFO AT THE SITE BELOW

No, you have nothing to worry about! Just like when we get the flu or strep throat the animals around us don't catch it! That would be terrible! But I have had animals sneeze at me a couple times, it definitely makes a person wonder don't it!

No. Everyone in the medical community knows that cats carry no viruses. In fact, their saliva contains anti-oxidants. They actually sense if a person has cancer and sneeze on them in hopes of curing them. It is a sign of true affection.

I'm no scientist but I would not worry about it. Your immune system is built differently than a cat or dogs so your body will react differently. More than likely you will not be affected at all. I believe flu viruses are species specific meaning they can't cross over to different species.

The only case that I can think of where an animal flu virus affected humans is the avian flu virus, otherwise I've never heard of any other cross species transfer.
