What decade,in the last 100 or so years, influenced music the most and why?!
Question: The 30s and 40s Blues scene was the catalyst for such artists as Elvis, B.B. King, Little Richard, Bill Hailey, Eric Clapton and others. The 50s rock and blues sound came from those artists which has influenced even todays music.

I think the 50's. It was the start of rock and roll. Everything since has built on that from what the 50's started.
