How come a lot of people are saying TV and Movies are dead?!
Question: Movies and TV are better than ever. The plots are better, dialogue is more realistic, and special effect are more convincing, stories are rich and full of depth. Look at what they have now, The Shield, Nip/Tuck, House MD, South Park, War at Home, Arrested Deveiopment, and look at what they had then, Miami Vice, TJ Hooker, Chips, Three's company, Leave it to Beaver. Full House. A good chunk of the shows back then were garbage, Cliched, predictable, unrealistic. Sure there's a lot of reality TV, but those shows can be pretty entertaining, Hogan knows best, Gene Simmons' family Jewls. I think TV is better than ever, and so are movies, loot at the movies now a days, 40 year old Virgin, Lord of the Rings, Exorcism of Emily Rose, Sin City, 300, 3:10 to Yuma, Batman Begins, and look at what they had then. Sure a lot of movies are sequels, remakes, and revamps, so what. Some of those remakes are pretty good, The Itallian Job, Oceans Eleven, Man on Fire. What do you guys think?

well I have never heard that TV and movies are dead, but I do agree that it is much better now then it was back in the day. Oh you forgot one really great show though. Heroes.
They want to wear all black. They need some reason.
For a dead art, they sure make a lot of money.
People have more choices now than they ever did.
Choices make people think...some people don't like to think.
It makes them responsible for what they watch.
